About

liebster-award-300x300I am an obsessive reader. To me, books are almost as important as oxygen. I’m sure at some point I “learned” to read, but I don’t remember it. My mom told me that even before kindergarten, she would catch me on the floor upstairs, surrounded by her adult books. I looked up at her once and announced that Mommy should not read this book because the lady in this book was kissing a man that was not her husband. I had no interest in children’s books without chapters. I had no need for the pictures.

Now, I read everything I can get my hands on. Once I finish a book, it’s on to the next. I have so many thoughts about the characters, plots, etc while I’m in the story, and I often suffer from “Book Hangover” –It’s a real thing, people!–but then I grasp on to the next book, and the next, and soon I lose what I read previously. This blog is my way of solving that problem. I want to dive more and more into what I’m reading, and keep the information I read. I also want to interact with other readers, so I want you to comment as much as you want…as long as you do it semi-respectfully. Debates and arguments are fine, but I will moderate the comments.

This blog isn’t about posting the newest or coolest book reviews. You’re going to see a big variety here–classics, series, nonfiction, fiction. Sure, I do read a lot of ARCs, and I do try and stay up on the current stuff too, but maybe not as fast as some bloggers do. I just read what I can get when I can get it. I also have a lot of personal reading goals, and I do a lot of challenges.

Also, any of the book covers I post are from Goodreads.com. I’m having trouble with the captions saving for some reason.
